Virtual Coffee Shops
JSN Virtual Coffee Shops (VCS) support the efforts of professional cohort groups within JSN schools by connecting them with one another around shared interests. This initiative acknowledges the rich experiences and valued expertise within our Network schools and facilitates the sharing of gifts as well as the engagement of challenges.
Session Guidelines
We’re using Zoom: Please take a few minutes to ensure your computer is up to date with the latest software version.
Please be Prompt: Please sign on to each session a few minutes in advance, as we will do our best to begin each session on time and end on time.
Please Clearly Identify Yourself: Upon joining the VCS, please identify yourself: First Name, Last Name, School Name. In order to change the name section, navigate to “Participants” in your Zoom toolbar, hover the mouse cursor over your name, and click on the “More” option. Choose the Rename option.
Please Mute Your Microphone: In order to lessen distractions, please mute your microphone upon entry. Please only unmute when speaking.
Please Be Fully Present as much as possible: Please have your video camera on, and we encourage you to make some notes amid the session with your ideas, possible action items, and reflections. We do not record these sessions in order to keep them more informal in nature.
